    100000 - Legacy Elite Lacrosse League

    The Legacy Elite Lacrosse League features some of the best players in the area. For college and post college age players.

    League will provide uniforms which must be worn.
    Players will provide full complement of equipment
    Games will be played Tues., Wed., or Thur., nights
    Team members will be notified of status by June 18.

    Please note that the League Commissioner has final say on team placement. For further information or questions, please email legacyelitelax@aol.com .

    Immediately after registering through Concord Recreation, you will receive a link to sign the waiver through Legacy. This is required and you will not be able to participate in the league without a signed waiver.

    In this class your child will learn basic Tae Kwon-Do moves while building strength and coordination and endurance. The rules of Martial arts respect, responsibility and self-control will be emphasized. We begin with a warm up; learn how to form the tools needed for correct punches kicks and chops, practice the moves we learn, and end with a fun game designed to increase focus and listening skills. Programming will be specialized to meet the needs of the students.

    102100 - Intro to Adaptive Tennis

    We are thrilled to introduce adaptive tennis to our roster of offerings. In thanks to a grant received from the US Tennis Association, we are able to give $120 scholarships to the first 2 players to register!

    This class is perfect for children ages 7-11yrs who experience mild gross motor and/or developmental delays. Children will learn basic tennis skills in a fun, caring, and safe environment adapted to their needs. A modified tennis court, low pressure balls, among other training tools help to create an overall positive experience for your child through tennis.

    Looking to try tennis before you register? Sign up for our introduction to adaptive tennis clinic, running on April 25 for $10.

    102202 - Power Soccer

    Played similar to the game of soccer, power soccer is a sport designed specifically for people using power wheelchairs. Plastic soccer guards are attached to participantís wheelchairs and are used to maneuver, kick, and pass a 13" soccer ball around on a regulation size basketball court. This team sport teaches skills while fostering camaraderie, teamwork, and sportsmanship and is an appropriate fit for anyone that can independently and safely maneuver their own chair. This program is an introduction to the sport and all equipment will be provided by the coach.

    This spring, Sudbury Park and Recreation will be hosting the fifth annual Sneaker Prom for community members with disabilities ages 14+! This dance is an inclusive event with volunteers from surrounding area high schools. Semi-formal attire with funky footwear encouraged! We will have a DJ, photo station, and lounge. Attendants are invited and welcome.
